What I am most passionate about is wellness. Personal accountability, self-growth and a healthy mindset are paramount to live a fulfilling, happy life. What is most important to me is supporting these endeavors in the people that matter to me most and, creating things that matter to other people. That is where event planning comes in.
I greatly value my teammates; clients, staff, vendors and friends. Planning and executing multiple events a year requires a great team and it is my role to lead. I love collaborating with interesting and genuine people. Long nights, varied people, different locations - I learn so much about myself and all of life. At the end of the day, I get to see the fruits of my labor come together. Not many people can say that about their work.
I am also very athletic and prefer being outdoors and ideally doing yoga every day. I am happiest in the sun, at the beach or on a mountain, with a perfect kale salad, rare steak or fish and crispy salty shoestring fries.
My favorite moment of an event is right when our clients see their event space(s) ready to go just prior to guest arrival. My favorite moment of a wedding is right before a couple walks down the aisle. If given an unlimited budget, I would milk the ceremony or cocktail hour, making it as fabulous as possible with a full symphony, lighting spectacular and a few great performances chock-full of meaningful content to truly reflect the importance and sweetness of the moment.
